I’ve always been drawn to the golden hues of this iconic plaza and building with its Art Deco motifs and details. Shot over a period of a couple sessions, I wanted to highlight the space, as well as capture the people who move through it. I opted for a slightly longer exposure to show movement, as well as a longer lens in some cases to show closeups of the decor, always with the intention of layering the composition.
Rockefeller Center remains one of those locations I can always find something new to photograph over the years, as well as draw inspiration from.
