In this series photographed in Cuba in 2017, I asked locals to drive me around Havana’s historic district. I thought the perspective of composing the photograph from inside the car could give the viewer the sense that they were also there, experiencing the road trip.
While also walking the streets, I wanted to play with shadows and the stunning colorful facades. Fond memories of this trip!
